Here we are once more, it’s a summer season and with all latest Hollywood blockbusters released while children are out of school. It means that all along with the film we get an official videogame to get release simultaneously. Kung Fu Panda intrigued because of the involvement of the funny man Jack Black and computer produced kung fu potential. At this writing the film has not been formally released but I can play Wii edition of this videogame. Whereas Kung Fu Panda is average game and I hope movie is better.
Game centers on the cuddly Panda called Po and his ideas of becoming kung fu master. The Po’s wonder of the famous Furious Five set embarks their unforeseen adventure. With the help of his leader Shifu, Po should master all the Shifu’s teachings in order to fulfill his fate of becoming Dragon Warrior. Why they want to use name Dragon Warrior that I do not know if old school gamers will definitely think back to old NES RPG prepared by Enix.
Single player mode is the action performing game, which will entertain you at times. The importance on Kung Fu is obvious since you will have Po achieve a variety of kicks, punches, and unique moves. Action Kung Fu parts of game are very simple with the goals like take out bad guys to go to the subsequent area. Wii controls do estimable work of keeping with the action, as you do not need to make use of the motion sensing to carry out all moves. B button will perform a normal attack that you can utilize to take the bad guys in game. Unique moves have to be achieved with some motion sensing exercises. While these unique moves will help you in battles they felt needless to me majority of the time. The normal attack (called Fast Attack) will work against the whole thing in the game when attack is achieved by shaking the Wiimote.

However the game will make you use the motion attacks at certain battles in game, majority of them is the boss battles. These movement attacks, just like Quick Time Events in some other games, keeps you waving Wiimote in some particular way in sequence fashion to beat the boss. This is easy and it must be but anyone with Wii knows that controller is accurate only with motions 99 percent of time. Perhaps 99% is very high but that 1% percent scope of error can also result in having repeating these battles once. In my case many times since game makes you begin at the very starting of battle every time. It takes one missed move and then its time to begin the battle once again. Ensure that kids have wristbands on or TV may get broken out of aggravation.
