Nintendo Wii Hardware released
Some hours later Nintendo has launched Wii, the official Wii website, which has gone on live with all latest “specifications” of company’s new console.
The main characteristics that Nintendo is boasting are fact that Wii can play above twenty year’s of Nintendo games. Not just that, Wii can also play all classic Sega and the TurboGrafx 16 games. Nintendo further says that its Wii will can support the games from an indie developers.
Whether users are able to make home brewed software are not but Wii will be seen. Wii will as well accept 80mm Game Cube discs.

Nintendo assumed that the self-loading visual media bay will be able to “play single or else double layered of 12cm visual discs for the Wii”, and 8cm Nintendo Game Cube discs. It is indistinct whether Nintendo is planning to use proprietary set-up for Wii, or will follow traditional single layer or double layer DVDs.
Wii game console can work with three axis motion sensitive Wii remote and Nunchuk controllers. Wii Remote as well includes the speaker, the rumble feature and the expansion port, which can be used as the pointer in 5 meters of screen. Wii Remote has power switch, and pad, A, B, Home, Minus, 1 & 2 buttons. Nunchuk controller comprise of analog control stick plus C and Z buttons.
