Technical Specifications of the Nintendo Wii

A firm based in Texas, Anascape LTD, also took the time to file a lawsuit against Nintendo as well for patent infringements. Green Welling LLP, a law firm, also filed a class action lawsuit, for defective wrist straps against Nintendo. Lonestar Inventions, a company based in Texas sued Nintendo, claiming that Nintendo had copied on of the patented capacitor designs by Lonestar and used it within the Wii gaming console.

Beating All the Odds

Despite all of the fuss surrounding the release of the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo was still able to be a success. They were able to beat all of the legal issues and take care of all of the technical issues that arose. Through television advertisements, Nintendo was able to spread the word of the Wii all across the world, introducing the Wii into four major markets within the first year of the Wii’s release. The main reason that the Wii was such a success was because it appealed to everyone, the Wii gaming system invited everyone from all walks of life to sit down or stand up and enjoy the experience of the Wii and the best part about it was it got everyone involved, working together, to accomplish one thing, promote a successful product.
